CANCELED: Yoga and Crystal Sound Bath Meditation. Unfortunately, we are canceling this Sunday’s Yoga and Crystal Sound Bath Meditation. Please be advised, if you signed up for the class, we will be refunding you immediately. We will reinstate the 4:15 pm Vinyasa class this Sunday if you wish to hop on the mat with us then.
We plan to host this event again in the future – stay tuned for a future note in your inbox and on social media.

Thanks, yogis, and hope to see you on the mat all weekend long.

Become an explorer of the felt unknown and a leader of your whole well being.
As living, breathing, moving beings we are in the habit of receiving and sending information at every moment. With a basic understanding of the human body as a measurable physical and subtle energetic field that interacts with and is penetrable by other fields, we can explore questions regarding movement and sound. Why can they be exhilarating, soothing, releasing, uplifting, and more? At some point, we are bound to experience an exchange that depletes us or “throws us off balance” in one or many of our fields (physical, emotional, mental, and beyond). The good news is that since everything is energy, and frequency is influential, certain practices can be incorporated to bring us back to a resonance of well being.
Two practices that blend well together for overall well being are Yoga and Sound baths.
Yoga is a tool for catching patterns of wasteful being and excess stress; it is a way to connect to that which is felt yet unseen. With asana, we physically transform the subtle by stimulating it, which then brings us into physical balance.
Another method of influencing the subtle is through one of our five senses, sound. Have you ever been deeply moved by a song or agitated by a high pitch noise? Sound promotes enhanced focus and relaxation and can be incorporated to improve one’s mood or overall health.
Yoga and Sound are accessible, approachable, and transformative practices and we are grateful to see them coming together again at Flex&Flow! Join Alissa and Scott for another meditation, accessible yoga flow, and crystal singing bowl sound bath coming up Sunday, February 23 from 3:30 – 5 PM.  This 90-minute class will get our bodies and minds ready to welcome in the intuitive Pisces New Moon, set intentions for Spring, and open yourself up for transformation and deep rest.

Alissa will lead a short intentional meditation followed by some gentle yoga movements to open the body. The finale: you are invited to get cozy and rest while Scott plays his beautiful collection of crystal singing bowls.

Alissa and Scott have become friends through their shared interest in healing modalities, yoga, and Reiki. They are excited to join forces to share this class with the Flex & Flow community.

*Comfy yoga clothes/layers, blanket, and pillow are suggested, and a journal if you are called to write anything down.
