Handstand Love! Workshop

Our instructor Daniel McIntire (IG: @dmacyoga) is hosting his first career workshop at Flex & Flow! He is so excited to bring all his experience and learning from his handstand journey to you! Join us on Sunday November 6th, from  11am – 12:30pm for Handstand LOVE with Daniel! There is no better place that Daniel can think of to host this workshop than at Flex & Flow.


The workshop is called Handstand LOVE!, named after his eBook! It will cover the eBook in-depth so that you can elevate your handstands no matter what level you are at right now. This workshop is designed to be accessible for all levels! Whether you’ve never tried a handstand or you’ve been handstanding every day for years, there is something for everyone to learn.


Daniel is bringing everything he’s got for this workshop to make it a fun, interactive, and applicable 90 minutes. The goal after you leave is to give you 5 things that you can add to your practice from there on out so your handstand is built up strong and stable.


As a yogi, Daniel has spent over 3 years studying with the top handstand experts around the world. He has picked up little tips and tricks from all corners of the globe including Dylan Werner, Patrick Beach, and Mackenzie Miller. In his eBook, Handstand LOVE! he compiled all these tips in one easy and fun to read place. We highly advise you download and read the eBook before the workshop so you have a great foundation that we can build on with Daniel. Daniel has designed this workshop to be highly interactive. You will get a chance to ask questions, go deeper into areas that don’t quite make sense or things you’d like his take on. Daniel will be chatting to you, asking questions to you, and inviting you to participate as much as possible in the discussions. He is excited to hone his teaching skills along side you in his first ever workshop. Learning will be had by all!

Liz Wilson

Liz grew up in Asheville, NC (namaste y'all!), and went to the University of North Carolina - Chapel Hill. Here she fell in love with yoga at a Baptiste power yoga studio, Franklin St Yoga Center. She postponed law school after graduation to do as her hippie lawyer father recommended: travel and have fun. She completed her 220-hour teacher training at Asheville Yoga Center and moved west. After three and a half years ski bumming and teaching yoga in Colorado, Liz moved to Portland in March 2015. She has always loved photography and being active, so connecting with Sweat Pink and working as the Social Media Manager was a perfect fit! (Aka, she LOVES Instagram!) She also loves running, skiing, hiking, surfing, vinyasa-ing, #stopdropandyoga-ing, handstanding, traveling, drinking wine and coffee with girlfriends, and laughing!
